ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Anne Storrs created eight building blocks representing the curriculum of each grade at Gregory Heights Elementary. Each block includes a bronze sculpture on top and ceramic tile mosaics on the sides.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Highline School District.

Portland-based artist Anne Storrs creates sculptures inspired by natural forms. Her work encompasses small ceramic pieces as well as large-scale installations in metal, concrete, and stone.
