ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Terry Furchgott's mural painting reflects the community of Kelso's pride in its school and school traditions. The artwork depicts halftime activities at a football game, including cheerleaders dancing the Highland Fling and the school's mascot, the Hilander, with his bagpipe and drum.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Kelso School District.
