ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Mike DeVoe's two carved columns depict the movement of water, seals, and sturgeon evoking a marine dance to remind us of the Pacific Northwest's abundant water and its beauty.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Grays Harbor College.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Vashon Island-based artist Mike Devoe creates figurative sculptures. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington in Seattle in 1973.
