David Franklin's carved Douglas fir, Western redcedar, and Sitka spruce sculpture "Chinookan Sunset" includes animals and other motifs found in historical carvings by the Coast Salish people of the area where Grays Harbor College is located.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Grays Harbor College.
