ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Ross Palmer Beecher's "Ellensburg Log Cabin Quilt" incorporates found objects the artist gathered around Ellensburg, Washington. Arranged into sixteen square panels reminiscent of a traditional quilt, this piece highlights Ellensburg's agricultural roots, the renowned annual rodeo, and scientific research at Central Washington University.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Ellensburg School District.
