ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Artist Roger Nachman's ten fused glass panels depict a continuous DNA strand with various images referencing Seattle Central Community College's math and science programs.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Seattle Central Community College.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Roger Nachman is a Seattle-based glass artist and designer. In the 1980s he was part of the Studio Glass movement in Japan, and currently creates a variety of glass sculptures and installations for public spaces.
