Brandon Zebold
(American, born 1965)

Location: Lake Washington Institute of Technology, Kirkland

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Inspired by his travels in Thailand and Cambodia, artist Brandon Zebold depicts a global perspective in Humours with flame-cut, recycled steel. The rhythms, color, and concepts are also inspired by the Shakespeare that he was reading at the time. Zebold notes that the "composition is meant to be freedom if not abstract, more like a psyche dance than a literal illustration of my inspiration."

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Lake Washington Technical College.
