- ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The iconography in Charles Bigger's artwork "Olduwan" was inspired by an archeological dig in Tanzania, where the artist took part in the discovery of tools and artifacts from prehistoric times. His artwork honors that site and connects prehistory with his contemporary culture.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with South Seattle Community College.
