ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Artist Roger Nachman's fused glass artwork incorporates familiar images and symbols into a rhythmic ribbon across the windows of Spanaway Middle School's commons area.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Bethel School District.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Roger Nachman is a Seattle-based glass artist and designer. In the 1980's he was part of the Studio Glass movement in Japan, and currently creates a variety of glass sculptures and installations for public spaces.
