ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Artist Paul Buckner created "Eagle Spirit" for Washington High School to portray the majestic birds he first saw and heard while serving on a US Coast Guard buoy tender in southeast Alaska.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Franklin Pierce School District.
