ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Spokane-based artist Louise Kodis uses the interplay of fabric sheen and texture with ambient light to activate Liberty Middle School's corridor.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Camas School District.

Spokane, Washington-based artist Louise Kodis creates wall hangings and installations made from colorful textiles. She studied at the San Francisco Art Institute and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington State University in 1964.
