ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Spokane-raised artist Jim Hodges created this stainless steel sculpture to explore new perceptions. The varied surfaces, from mirrored to matte, alter the surrounding landscape through playful, reflective illusion. This work is dedicated to Hodges' mother, Ramona, who died shortly before this work was made.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Washington State University.
