Artist Beliz Brother used LEDs and eco-resin, made from post- industrial material, to create this abstract flower to fill Grey Wolf Hall with form and light.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Everett Community College.
- ABOUT THE ARTIST
Seattle-based artist Beliz Brother creates site-specific public art installations. Her abstract artworks are inspired by complex natural processes and systems of interaction. She is the recipient of many awards and fellowships, including the 2009 Americans for the Arts Public Art Network Year in Review award for her artwork 'Bloom' which is installed at Everett Community College. She acted as an affiliate professor of sculpture and public art at the University of Washington in Seattle from 2003-2012.
