Ken Spiering's "Fulfilling One's Destiny; Advancing Against the Current" evokes fishing on Orting's Puyallup and Carbon Rivers and the notion of demonstrating leadership and creativity even if it means swimming upstream.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Orting School District.
