Kana Tanaka's "Cascade" at Washington State University's Riverpoint Campus references the nearby Spokane River and its cascading waterfalls. Interspersed within thousands of hand-formed clear glass spheres are colorful dichroic glass leaves, petals, and fish.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Washington State University.
