A New Perspective in the Hunt for Clues, 2011

Ryan LaBar
(American, born 1975)

Location: Peninsula College, Port Angeles

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Ryan LaBar creates precarious sculptures by weaving together ceramic elements that shift and deform in the kiln, causing a cascading series of "failures" that, once hardened enough to remain stable, become a singular whole.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Peninsula College.
