Portland, Oregon-based painter Lucinda Parker creates formal landscapes, figurative, and abstract compositions in an expressive, cubist style. Born in Boston, she moved to Portland, Oregon in 1969. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Reed College in Portland, Oregon and a Master of Fine Arts from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. She was an associate professor at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland for over thirty years.
